Job summary

Aurora Medical Group (AMG) is seeking qualified Medical Assistants or Licensed Practical Nurses to join the 36-hour week float pool in Sheboygan, WI. The role spans multiple clinics within AMG and Advocate Health, including primary and specialty care, with a patient-centered focus.

Responsibilities include clinical and administrative support, vital signs, exams preparation, medication administration, lab tasks, and EHR documentation. Full-time, benefits-eligible position in an ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure in the practicing state required.
• MA: completion of an accredited program or 2 years verifiable MA experience.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers within 45 days.
• GED or HS equivalency diploma obtained.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
