Harris Health seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to deliver patient care and education in ambulatory clinics under the direct supervision of registered nurses, physicians and other clinicians. The LVN applies the nursing process to meet physical, social, psychological and spiritual needs and coordinates care within the LVN scope of practice.

The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Texas LVN licensure and BLS (AHA) certification.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in Texas.
• Basic Life Support from a hospital-based American Heart Association (AHA) approved program.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient care and education in ambulatory clinics under direct supervision of RN/physician/PA/ dentist/ podiatrist.
• Use nursing process to address physical, social, psychological and spiritual needs.
• Coordinate care among healthcare team within LVN scope of practice.
