Job summary

NYU Langone Health's Ambulatory Care Nurse (FGP) - OB/GYN IVF role supports coordination, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practice and clinical policies, ideal for a nurse with IVF experience dedicated to comprehensive patient care.

You will perform physical examinations, collect patient health history, document in the electronic health record, and counsel patients and families regarding tests and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in applicable area.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Collect patient health history and document in electronic health record (EHR).
• Provide information, counsel, and education to patients and families regarding test results and treatment plans.
• Administer medications, provide comprehensive wound care, and perform patient triage.
• Assess and monitor patient responses to treatments, procedures, and anesthesia.
• Direct, supervise, and delegate to licensed practical nurses and medical assistants.
• Support coordination and implementation of nursing practice and clinical policies.
• Participate in quality initiatives to impact clinical outcome measures.
