Job summary

HonorHealth, in partnership with Arizona State University, seeks a Core Faculty member for its Internal Medicine Residency Program in Scottsdale, AZ. The role focuses on outpatient care, teaching residents and medical students, and contributing to a collaborative academic environment.

The ideal candidate is an MD/DO/MBBS with ABIM certification, eligible for Arizona licensure, and experienced in ambulatory education and mentorship.

Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS with ABIM Internal Medicine certification.
• Eligible for unrestricted Arizona medical licensure.
• Strong ambulatory clinical and teaching skills.
• Preferred: 2+ years outpatient or academic medicine experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead outpatient clinical care with resident and student precepting.
• Deliver didactic sessions and case-based teaching.
• Mentor residents in clinical reasoning and professional development.
• Participate in residency committees and curriculum development.
• Engage in quality improvement and scholarly activities.
