Job summary

HonorHealth, a leading Arizona nonprofit health system, is seeking an Ambulatory Faculty Physician to teach Internal Medicine residents in ambulatory care. The AFP provides medical care in an ambulatory setting and collaborates with the residency program to advance high-value healthcare.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine, ABIM - Required
• Eligible for Arizona State License
• Successful completion of a residency in Internal Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics - Required
• Prior experience as a faculty member in a post-graduate residency program OR completion of 1 year general internal medicine fellowship or Chief Medical Resident position - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Participates as an attending physician caring for patients at HonorHealth or HonorHealth Medical group
• Supervises resident care for patients at HonorHealth or HonorHealth Medical Group
• Participates in scholarly activity and faculty development educational programs
• Participates in residency, hospital, and community related committees as assigned.
• Participates in weekly teaching of students/residents/faculty at conferences
• Performs other duties as assigned.
