Job summary

AdventHealth Medical Group Sebring FL is seeking an experienced core Internal Medicine outpatient only faculty physician for our Internal Medicine Residency program.

The residency began in 2022 and will have 24 Residents (8-8-8), supported by a full-scope medical staff and resources, with collaboration across AHMG networks. You will mentor, teach, supervise residents and students, and contribute to curriculum development in a community-based setting.

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree.
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
• Unrestricted Florida licensure or ability to obtain.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in internal medicine, with two years as a core faculty member in an ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency program.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentoring, teaching and supervision of faculty, residents and students in the Internal Medicine Program.
• Assist program director in mentoring and evaluating clinical and teaching effectiveness of residents and program.
• Practice and teach full-spectrum Internal Medicine.
• Teach didactics and assist in curriculum development.
• Interview and recruit faculty, maintain staffing, conduct yearly reviews and provide direct clinical care.
