Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved professional registered nursing program.
• Current Texas RN license.
• Current BLS through American Heart Association.
• 1+ years of KSC experience may be considered in lieu of 6+ months RN experience with approval from Sr Dir Nursing Services.
• 6+ months in a clinical area.
• Computer experience.
• Proven ability to use equipment and supplies for the patient population including CPR, oxygen administration, and IV therapy.

Responsibilities

• Review schedules, abstract as needed, print patient materials, and prepare documents for scanning.
• Schedule appointments and assist with referrals and radiology testing.
• Provide patient education materials and ensure confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Utilize nursing process to advocate for quality patient care and monitor patient status.
• Perform CPR and participate in emergency response management.
• Document observations and transport patients within facility as needed.
• Assist with rooming patients, testing, and physician assistance as patient acuity warrants.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and exam rooms; log and restock as needed.
• Complete QA logs and maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards.
