Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved professional registered nursing program.
• Current Texas RN license.
• Current BLS through American Heart Association.
• 6+ months in a clinical area; 1+ years at KSC may be considered in lieu of 6 months RN experience with Sr Dir Nursing approval.
• Computer experience; CPR, oxygen administration and IV therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in an assigned clinical area.
• Demonstrate leadership on the unit under supervision.
• Apply clinical nursing knowledge to ensure safety and comfort per standards.
• Use critical thinking to identify priorities and deliver timely care.
