Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare is seeking a Provider Solutions Specialist II to serve as a division resource for ambulatory EHR implementation and support. You will work with an integrated team to provide workflow analysis, testing, training, implementation, and optimization for clinical users of ambulatory EHR technology.

The role requires collaboration with providers and practice staff, and involves staying current with Health IT trends, security, and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 5 Years Experience -Required.
• Preferred: Proficiency in clinical applications, ambulatory EHR preferred.
• Education: College graduate preferred or advanced course studies or related experience with 5 years previous experience in healthcare related field preferred.
• Occasional /Intermittent Travel Required.

Responsibilities

• Leads ambulatory EHR implementations for providers and practices (new start-ups and acquisitions).
• Provides Training and Second level support for dictation and voice recognition technologies.
• Plans, organizes, and independently conducts ambulatory EHR optimization efforts and promotes standardization and best practices.
• Promotes process changes that improve implementation, maintenance, and support of ambulatory EHR technologies.
• Coordinates provider and practice service requests and incident resolutions through the Division Service Desk.
