Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a full-time Radiology/Laboratory Medicine technician for NH Urgent Care locations. The role requires an Associate degree in Radiology or Laboratory Medicine and appropriate certifications, with at least one year of patient care experience preferred.

Work involves 8am–8pm shifts, 7 days a week across multiple sites, with 36 hours per week and benefits eligibility. Training and protocols updates are provided to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiology or Laboratory Medicine required.
• ARRT/ASCP/AMT licensure required or eligible.
• One year of patient care experience preferred.
• Ability to follow lab and X-ray protocols precisely.

Responsibilities

• Follows lab procedures for specimen collection, handling and processing.
• Maintains patient test management from pre-analytic to post-analytic phases.
• Performs and documents instrument maintenance and calibration.
• Produces X-ray images with proper patient identification and exposure.
• Assists in training and on-the-job guidance for new staff.
• Maintains clerical records for Lab and X-Ray, including logs and reports.
• Participates in proficiency testing as assigned.
