Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiology and Laboratory Medicine professional to join the NH Urgent Care team in Zebulon. The role involves specimen collection, X-ray imaging, and adherence to all testing protocols to ensure quality care for patients.

Minimum requirement is an associate degree in Radiology or Laboratory Medicine with ARRT/ASCP/AMT certification; one year of patient-care experience is preferred. Full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiology or Laboratory Medicine is required.
• One year of experience in patient care is preferred.
• Licensure/certification: ARRT for Radiology graduates; ASCP or AMT for Laboratory Medicine graduates.

Responsibilities

• Follows lab procedures for specimen collection, handling and processing.
• Adheres to patient test management protocols to ensure quality assurance across pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic phases.
• Performs instrument maintenance and calibration as needed.
• Maintains clerical records for Lab and X-Ray.
• Participates in proficiency testing as assigned.
• Performs x-ray procedures including patient identification, positioning and exposure.
• Assists Diagnostic Supervisor in training new personnel.
