Job summary

Baptist Health in Arkansas seeks an Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacist I to join the BH Employee Clinic. This part-time role supports clinics and remote/face-to-face counseling within a multidisciplinary team.

The pharmacist will ensure safe, effective, cost-conscious medication therapy, perform comprehensive medication reviews, and precept students while advancing outpatient access and adherence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy with a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree.
• Active Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy license.
• Eligible to precept APPE students and PGY1 residents.
• Board Certification by BPS (post-licensure).
• Ambulatory care experience or completion of ASHP PGY1 residency.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficacious, cost-effective medication therapy in ambulatory clinics.
• Consult with patients and physicians to optimize treatment goals.
• Titrate, manage and monitor medication therapy.
• Educate patients and providers on disease management.
• Perform comprehensive medication reviews and transitions of care.
• Motivate and address adherence and medication access issues.
• Precept APPE students and PGY1 residents.
• Support outpatient medication access and adherence.
