Job summary

The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia seeks a Clinical Nurse Manager to implement standardized workflows that enhance patient care, ensure regulatory compliance, and support provider access across the Health System. This role oversees clinical float and education teams and partners with leaders to drive improvements in care delivery.

You will lead onboarding, training, and ongoing staff development, collaborate on Epic-based workflows, and ensure high-quality, safe patient care

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing required.
• 3 years relevant experience required; ambulatory management preferred.
• RN licensure preferred in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with clinic leadership to mentor clinical support teams.
• Monitors performance of clinical staff to ensure standards and compliance.
• Optimizes workflows to support patient care coordination and access.
• Oversees patient care processes, documentation and referrals.
• Leads vaccine ordering, handling, storage, and administration processes.
• Develops onboarding and training tools for clinical staff.
