Job summary

Qualifications

• RN diploma, completion of an accredited LPN program, or bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• Preferred - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• 5 years' experience as a healthcare provider
• Current RN or LPN license in the state of practice is preferred

Responsibilities

• Develops, schedules, and conducts one-on-one and group training sessions.
• Participates in system upgrades through analysis, testing and development of documentation and training curricula.
• Responsible for program development strategies including online training, additional module development, nursing research and publication design.
• Initiates, evaluates, and conducts nursing research for issues involving nursing/patient education and care within the hospital.
• Evaluates the effects of nursing research on patient care and makes recommendations.
• Documents participation in nursing research and publication activities annually.
• Utilizes current research findings as a basis for program and policy development.
