Ochsner Health System in Louisiana seeks a teacher/facilitator/consultant who collaborates with nursing and organizational management to implement educational goals and improve patient care outcomes. The educator designs, plans, implements and evaluates education and training activities across the organization.

To perform this role, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in nursing (master’s preferred), 3 years of nursing experience, and a current RN license with BLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• Master’s degree in nursing preferred.
• 3 years of nursing experience required.
• Current RN license in state of practice required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsabilités

• Assesses, designs, presents and evaluates educational programs for clinical and non-clinical staff based on identified needs/competencies.
• Actively participates in groups and professional associations.
• Functions as a performance consultant.
• Coordinates training facilities and other resources.
• Performs other related duties as required.
