Job summary

Corewell Health's Gas Light Village Family Medicine clinic in Grand Rapids is seeking a full-time team member to provide clinical and clerical support under RN or Provider supervision. You will handle check-in/out, insurance authorizations, phone coverage and basic clerical tasks, with cross-training to clinical duties.

The role requires a high school diploma, BLS within 90 days, and 2 years' experience in billing, access management, patient financial services or EHR systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• 2 years of Insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, EHR, lab service support experience preferred.
• 2 years of clinical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical and clerical support under RN or Provider supervision.
• Check in/check out, insurance authorizations, answer phones, and right-fax.
• Cross-trained to provide clinical assistance as needed.
