Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a team member for a combined clinical and clerical role at Gas Light Village in Grand Rapids. You will support patient intake, documentation, and administrative tasks while coordinating with RN or Provider supervision to maintain high-quality care.

Responsibilities include handling insurance authorizations, answering calls, and basic medical clerical duties. A High School Diploma and BLS within 90 days are required; 2 years of billing and EHR experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days.
• 2 years of Insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support experience preferred.
• 2 years of clinical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care under supervision of RN or Provider.
• Provide clerical support for complex matters to assist in value-driven health care services.
• Check in and check out, insurance authorizations, answering phones, right-fax; cross-training clinically.
