Job summary

UF Health is seeking a Manager of Inpatient CDI Ambulatory to lead the program's day-to-day operations, ensuring accurate, complete documentation to support SOI, ROM, and compliant reimbursement. The role partners with physicians, nursing leadership, coding, and quality teams to optimize documentation across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in CDI with leadership experience, knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, and experience using Epic CDI platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in nursing, HIM, healthcare administration, or related field.
Master’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration, business administration, or related field preferred.
Minimum five (5) years of Clinical Documentation Integrity experience; minimum three (3) years of progressive leadership experience in CDI, coding, case management, or related operations.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day CDI program operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, coding, and quality teams to optimize documentation and coding practices.
Mentor CDI staff, monitor KPIs, and drive process improvements to engage physicians and improve documentation quality.
