Job summary

UF Health seeks an accomplished Director of Clinical Documentation Integrity to lead enterprise CDI initiatives. The role partners with Coding, UM, Quality and Compliance to standardize workflows and strengthen documentation integrity across inpatient and ambulatory settings.

The ideal candidate will drive provider engagement, governance, and performance reporting while improving case mix, audit defensibility, and revenue integrity in a large academic medical center environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; BSN preferred.
• Master's degree in a related field preferred.
• CDDS is required; RN active licensure is required; other CDI certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise-wide leadership for inpatient and ambulatory CDI programs.
• Establish standardized CDI workflows and governance with key partners.
• Improve documentation quality and proper severity/coding capture (MS-DRG, HCC).
• Engage physicians and service lines, drive performance reporting and training.
