Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of Clinical Documentation Integrity experience.
• Minimum three (3) years of progressive leadership experience in CDI, coding, case management, or related healthcare operations.
• Experience with physician engagement and clinical documentation improvement initiatives.
• Comprehensive knowledge of inpatient CDI practices and ICD-10-CM/PCS coding principles.
• Experience utilizing Epic and CDI technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and operational oversight of the inpatient CDI program.
• Monitor KPIs, drive process improvements, and promote physician engagement to enhance documentation quality.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, coding, quality, utilization management, and HIM teams to optimize documentation and coding practices.
• Supervise CDI professionals and develop team capabilities.
