Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care using evidence-based practices. The role requires completion of a nursing program and RN licensure in the state, with BLS certification preferred and BSN preferred for future advancement.

The RN will employ the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, ensuring patient safety, effective communication, and collaboration with the care team. Flexibility to float may be required across units.

• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Adheres to safety culture and ethical standards, including ANA Code of Ethics.
• Ensures accurate, timely EHR documentation and appropriate delegation.
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs as required.
