Job summary

UF Health in Gainesville seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in an ambulatory setting. You will perform clinical assessments, advocate for patients, and deliver counseling and education while collaborating with a team of providers.

The role may involve patient case management, specialized procedures, and occasional floating to other ACU clinics to maintain staffing coverage. Florida RN licensure and BLS are required or obtained on hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• FL RN licensure required; BLS certification preferred or obtained.
• 1 year of specialty experience or 2 years ambulatory care or hospital RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical nursing assessment in ambulatory care.
• Act as patient advocate, provide counseling and education.
• Manage patient cases and perform specialized procedures as needed.
• May float to other ACU clinics to meet staffing needs.
