The role requires NYS RN licensure, BLS certification, and strong communication. ACLS is preferred, and experience with EHR systems is essential for accurate documentation and care coordination.

Qualifications

• Current New York State license as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Competence with computerized health records and clinical documentation systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated, high-quality patient care across multiple specialties.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, including collecting patient histories and focused physical assessments.
• Assist in the implementation of medical care plans by carrying out provider-directed interventions and follow-up activities.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and support diagnostic workflows.
• Review and interpret lab and diagnostic results and communicate findings to patients and providers.
