Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in the licensing state or eNLC multi-state license.
• Temporary RN permits required by the state may apply; permanent licensure needed within state timelines.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care within ambulatory setting, based on nursing process and scope of practice.
• Performs preliminary assessment to facilitate follow-up with care team.
• Evaluates complex patient care situations and initiates appropriate interventions.
• Applies independent nursing judgment for care and delegation.
• Maintains standards of care and documentation to guide patient care.
• Educates patients and families; documents teaching outcomes in patient charts.
• Mentors new staff and supports unit orientation.
