Northwell is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide age-appropriate, evidence-based care using the nursing process. You will collaborate with physicians and the health team to coordinate procedures and treatments, demonstrate leadership, and delegate unit activities to ensure safe, quality patient outcomes.

The role requires a NYS RN license, with a BSN preferred and ongoing BSN enrollment and completion commitments. Prior nursing experience in acute care is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current NYS RN license is required.
• BSN degree preferred; must enroll in BSN program within 2 years and complete BSN within 5 years of hire.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient health status via comprehensive nursing assessment across body systems.
• Document and communicate patient status, care plan, and outcomes to care team.
• Identify patient outcomes and set individualized goals; measure progress.
• Plan and coordinate care with physicians and team; manage resources for care.
• Implement care plans, monitor safety, and reassess; adjust plans as needed.
• Administer medications safely and educate patients and families on therapies.
• Provide patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with care team to implement treatments and referrals.
• Maintain sterile technique, wound care, and pressure ulcer prevention.
• Provide leadership and direction to unit staff as assigned.
• Perform related duties as required under ADA.
