Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN).

• Current RN licensure in the state; BLS and ACLS within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage, and establish care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify physician or LIP of abnormal findings.
• Assist with specialized procedures and care equipment.
• Develop and document health education for patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department.
• Travel regionally to support physician clinics and surgical procedures.
