Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure required.
• BLS certification; ACLS within six months if needed for certain procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage, and establish care plans.
• Administer medication and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify physician/LIP of abnormal findings.
• Assist with diagnostic/therapeutic procedures and specialized equipment.
• Develop, evaluate, and document health education for patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and procedures.
