Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking an RN for the Ambulatory - Procedure unit in Cleveland, OH. You will deliver professional nursing care, perform assessments and triage, administer medications, and support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a busy ambulatory setting.

Requirements include an accredited nursing degree, RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS within six months of hire if applicable. Travel within the region may be required to support clinics and procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage, and establish care plans.
• Administer medication and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify the physician and/or LIP of abnormal findings.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures, and specialized patient care equipment.
• Develop, evaluate, adapt, and document health education and provide it to patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed.
