UCSF Health is seeking a registered nurse to provide ambulatory cardiac care using the nursing process. You’ll work within interdisciplinary teams, performing established nursing procedures and managing care for patients with complex needs.

The role requires 1 year of ambulatory cardiac experience, knowledge of heart failure management, and advanced IV skills. Flexibility to orient across UCSF locations is essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of ambulatory nursing experience caring for cardiac patients and knowledge of diuretics/electrolytes.
• Knowledge of Chronic Heart Failure Management and guideline-directed medical therapy.
• Advanced skills with IV initiation and IV push medications.
• Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.

Responsabilités

• Uses the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide safe, therapeutic care.
• Works as part of interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and duties.
• Assists with management of patient care administered by other nursing team members.
