Job summary

UCSF Health seeks a Registered Nurse with cardiac care experience to join our interdisciplinary team. You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring safe, therapeutic outcomes in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with management of patient care across locations, performing established nursing procedures, and maintaining proficiency with Epic EHR. A BSN and California RN license are required, along with CPR certification.

Qualifications

• 1 year of nursing experience caring for cardiac patients in acute or ambulatory settings.
• Ability to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.
• Experience with IV initiation and IV push medications (preferred).
• Experience in caring for Advanced Heart Failure patients.
• Current California RN license.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - 1 year of nursing recent experience caring for cardiac patients in an acute care or ambulatory setting with working knowledge of diuretics and electrolytes in the Heart Failure population.
• This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.
• PREFERRED QUALIFICATION - Proficiency with IV initiation and IV push medications.
• Experience in caring for Advanced Heart Failure patients
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record
• Ability to multitask and easily float between clinic responsibilities
• BSN REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS - Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
