Job summary

Healthier Mississippi Collaborative is seeking an RNI- Ambulatory- SOM Anesthesiology registered nurse to assess, develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in an ambulatory setting. The role coordinates patient scheduling, records, admissions, and serves as a liaison with case managers and home health services.

The nurse will counsel patients and families, ensure safe, effective care, mentor staff, and uphold confidentiality and professional standards within regulatory

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Experience in ambulatory or SOM anesthesia preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with case managers, home health, utilization review, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care by performing problem-focused assessments, planning, implementing and evaluating treatments and interventions.
• Accurately documents care in the patient’s electronic medical record.
• Coordinates delivery of care within the practice and across health care settings.
• Administers and coordinates resources and activities within the practice setting.
• Fosters interdisciplinary collaboration to improve quality of care and outcomes.
• Communicates with patients and families about care and the nurse's role.
• Ensures access to safe, effective, timely, efficient, and equitable care.
• Mentors new staff and participates in orientation and education.
