Responsibilities

• Interviews and registers patients in registration areas.
• Obtains accurate demographic, insurance, and physician information.
• Screens customer data to verify insurance eligibility and communicate differences.
• Ensures insurance pre-certification and physician referral requirements are met.
• Identifies self-pay patients and refers to financial assistance when applicable.
• Maintains open communication with all departments and clinical staff.
