Job summary

AMR Monterey County, CA is seeking Paramedics for full- and part-time positions. Hourly pay ranges from $37.11 to $59.42, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a 2-year commitment for external hires.

Responsibilities include advanced patient care, driving ambulances on 911 responses, and leadership on scenes. Required qualifications include CA State Paramedic License, CA Driver's License, multiple certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS/PEPP/BTLS or PHTLS), and additional licensure as an Ambulance Driver.

Qualifications

• CA State Paramedic License required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, PEPP, BTLS or PHTLS certifications required.
• Valid CA Driver's License and Ambulance Driver's License.
• Medical Examiner's Certificate and driving record compliant with policy.

Responsibilities

• Assess call situations and apply Paramedic protocols.
• Use medical equipment such as defibrillator and EKG monitor to provide care.
• Communicate with patients and families about care.
• Act as Paramedic team lead and manage scene if needed.
• Drive ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to promote AMR.
