AMR Monterey is seeking Paramedics for full-time or part-time roles in Monterey County, CA. The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment and hourly pay between $37.11 and $59.42, with 12-hour shifts and an average of 42 hours per week.

The role focuses on delivering compassionate, high-quality care and advanced patient treatment, with opportunities to lead scenes and collaborate with public safety teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CA State Paramedic License required.
• CA Driver's License required.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS/PEPP/BTLS or PHTLS certifications.
• Driving record compliant with policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best action with Paramedic protocols.
• Use Paramedic skills with equipment to provide advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to uphold AMR image.
