Job summary

Royal Ambulance in San Francisco is seeking a hands-on Fleet Maintenance Technician – Tire & Preventive Maintenance inspections specialist to keep our ambulance fleet safe and reliable. This role suits someone with tire and automotive experience who enjoys independent work and problem solving.

You’ll travel between five stations, perform tire inspections, rotations, PM inspections, basic oil changes, and light vehicle repairs.

Qualifications

1–3 years of automotive or tire service experience.
Experience with tire mounting and balancing equipment.
Clean driving record.
Basic hand tools for tire service and light repairs.
Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking.
Ability to travel between Royal Ambulance stations.

Responsibilities

Perform tire inspections, rotations, mounting, balancing, and replacements.
Complete preventive maintenance inspections and basic oil changes.
Handle light vehicle repairs including doors, windows, seats, mirrors, wipers, dashboards, and cabinets.
Replace interior, exterior, and emergency vehicle lighting.
Perform gurney preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.
Adjust or replace antler rails and lock bars.
