Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to oversee ambulances and company vehicles, ensuring preventative maintenance, inspections, and safety checks are completed. You will coordinate with dealerships, track mileage, and uphold safety standards across locations.

The role requires a high school diploma, extensive vehicle-maintenance experience, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in vehicle maintenance; oil changes, etc.
• Minimum ten-year related experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fleet coordination on ambulances and vehicles, including maintenance and safety checks.
• Coordinate with dealerships for timely vehicle maintenance.
• Resolve escalated service issues with internal or external customers.
• Enforce vehicle safety codes and training.
• Monitor maintenance, mileage, and driver records for each vehicle.
• Maintain vehicle information such as warranties and manuals.
• Provide maintenance recommendations and scheduling for preventative tasks.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Logistics leadership.
