Job summary

Webster University seeks an Undergraduate Admissions Counselor to identify, recruit, and grow the pool of admitted and enrolled undergraduates, including freshmen and transfers. The role develops programs and practices to support enrollment goals and travels regionally to engage high schools and community colleges.

The counselor advises applicants and families on requirements, processes, and timelines, uses SLATE to track prospects, and collaborates with campus partners to streamline admissions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and one year of experience in recruitment, admissions, advising, or related enrollment and/or student service experience.
• Experience using CRM/SLATE for managing data, prospects, applicants, and recruitment territories.
• Ability to communicate effectively, learn regulations, and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment/Territory Management across high schools, colleges, and events.
• Counsel students and families on admissions requirements and procedures.
• Manage SLATE data, timelines, and connections to campus offices.
• Assist with admissions decisions and prepare travel plans for recruitment activities.
