FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is hiring a Retail Assistant Store Manager in Houston with an hourly wage of $13.00 to $17.00.

The role offers an achievable commission structure paid on every transaction and the possibility to earn an additional hourly supplement through sales performance. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will partner with the Store Manager to lead store employees, manage daily operations, recruit talent, and maximize financial goals while maintaining customer satisfaction and asset

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods of time (in accordance with federal, state, and local law).
• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Assistant Store Managers will work 40+ hours a week.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
• Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers so their development meets the prescribed FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company-prescribed channels.
• Opens and closes the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise, and ensuring all procedures are followed to protect assets.
• Ensures asset protection through inventory control and storing processes.
• Administer processes within the store, including inventory, loan management, merchandising, and reporting.
• Evaluate store financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure value and integrity of all loans issued.
• The Assistant Store Manager acts as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
