Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment seeks an entry-level Ride Technician I to perform maintenance and inspections of rides and attractions in a safety-first environment. You will support preventative maintenance, learn basic ride management, and complete required certifications within six months.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma (AA/BA preferred), strong communication and math skills, and a willingness to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication skills and basic math abilities.
• Ability to provide and use basic hand tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate/bachelor degree preferred.
• No prior professional maintenance experience required; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and inspections of rides and attractions.
• Support safe, guest-first operations and follow safety policies.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams as needed.
• Complete required training and certifications within six months.
• Maintain documentation including inspections and check-offs.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and daily operational tasks.
