Downtown Ambassadors offer information and resources to visitors during the summer months. They are available to answer questions about shopping, restaurants, things to do and more!

BID's Downtown Ambassadors are a very recognizable presence in their bright red shirt and hats.

BID's Ambassadors serve as a welcoming experience for visitors to Downtown Durango. They provide accurate information and resources to visitors and locals, and also have direct connections to Downtown and North Main District happenings. The Ambassadors circulate the 10 blocks of Downtown on foot seven days a week during the months of June, July, August, September and October. They are also stationed at the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad on weekends.

Ambassadors proactively offer the following services:

• Directions and way-finding assistance
• Dining recommendations
• Recommendations for activities and events
• Can personally escort you to and from locations as needed
• Help with parking questions and meters
• Address safety concerns or emergencies

Hours of operation: Memorial Day through October
