Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment seeks Ambassadors for Sesame Place to prep and serve high-quality food while adhering to safety and allergen guidelines. You will operate a busy kitchen with open-flame grills, smokers, steam kettles, and more, ensuring accurate temperatures and fresh, safe meals for guests.

The role requires at least one year of cooking experience or culinary training, basic knife skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with cooking and allergens in dining facilities.
• At least one year of cooking experience or culinary school.
• Basic knife skills required.
• Able to pass SafeStaff and RCS training (alcohol).
• Able to train on and use kitchen equipment and protective gear.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to prepare special dietary meals.
• Strong communication with ambassadors and guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high quality food meeting standards per menu.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and safety protocols.
• Oversee final food quality and temperature testing.
• Cook to menu specifications using professional kitchen equipment.
• Assemble wraps, sandwiches, salads, and other items.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas.
• Interact with ambassadors and guests to provide excellent service.
