Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Scottsdale North/Perimeter Center is seeking an AM Server Part Time to greet guests, take dining room and room service orders, and deliver food with friendly, attentive service.

You will work 2 to 3 days per week, including weekends, from 5:30am to 11:30am, with starting pay at $16/hour plus gratuity. A minimum of 1 year of food and beverage experience is preferred.

• Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain a high level of guest service in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with a friendly smile and welcoming attitude.
• Take dining room and room service orders; communicate with kitchen via POS.
• Check in with guests to ensure needs are met and post payments using POS.
• Clear dishware and sanitize service areas as needed.

Serve up a memorable dining experience as a AM Server Part Time, taking orders, delivering food and drinks, and ensuring every guest enjoys friendly, attentive service.

• Greet every guest with a friendly smile and welcoming attitude
• Take dining room and room service orders; communicating them to the kitchen through the point-of-sale system; follow-up directly with cooks as needed
• Check in frequently with guests to ensure all needs and expectations are being met
• Prepare checks and post payments using the point-of-sale system
• Remove dishware from tables/counters during the dining experience as well as at the end; take them to the kitchen for washing
• Clean and sanitize the service and guest areas of the restaurant as needed

• Three or more months of restaurant experience

• Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
