Responsibilities

• Set up food and beverage stations according to service design, ensuring readiness before service begins.
• Keep stations stocked and clean during service, including china, glassware, silverware, food, and beverages.
• Bus tables as guests depart, and clear, clean, and reset for new guests.
• Handle special requests from guests.
• Perform opening and closing side duties.
• Maintain cleanliness of lounge seating and service areas during shifts.
• Follow hotel food sanitation policies when handling food and beverages.
• Practice proper service recovery techniques and resolve guest issues satisfactorily, seeking management assistance if needed.
• Report any food or beverage issues to management.
• Adhere to food safety standards, especially in kitchen areas.
• Handle chemicals and cleaning agents properly, particularly around food.
• Report any injuries, minor or major, to supervisors.
• Perform additional duties as assigned within the Food & Beverage department or other hotel departments.

Qualifications

• Experience in food and beverage service, counter service, or buffets with significant guest interaction.
• Bartending experience and knowledge.
• Ability to follow sanitation, portion control, serving, storing, and food handling policies.
• Willingness to interact warmly with guests throughout shifts.
• Willingness to assist in all Food & Beverage areas.
• Physical ability to perform the job functions.
