Responsibilities
- Set up the food and beverage stations according to the service plan, ensuring readiness before service begins.
- Keep serving stations stocked and clean during service, including china, glassware, silverware, food, and beverages.
- Bus tables, clear, clean, and reset for new guests.
- Handle guest requests professionally.
- Complete opening and closing side duties.
- Maintain cleanliness of lounge seating and serving areas during service.
- Follow hotel food sanitation policies and procedures when handling food and beverages.
- Practice proper service recovery techniques and resolve guest issues satisfactorily, seeking management assistance when needed.
- Report any issues with food or beverages to management.
- Adhere to safety standards, especially in kitchen areas, and handle chemicals properly.
- Report any injuries to your supervisor or manager, regardless of severity.
- Perform other duties as assigned within the Food & Beverage department or other hotel departments.
Qualifications
- Experience in food and beverage service, especially in guest-facing roles.
- Bartending experience and knowledge.
- Ability to follow sanitation, portion control, and food handling policies.
- Friendly and welcoming attitude towards guests.
- Willingness to assist across all areas of the Food & Beverage department.
- Physical ability to perform job functions.
