JOB OVERVIEW: Greet and serve guests according to standards.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


  1. Take and serve guest orders promptly and according to service manual.
  2. Complete all necessary set-up and sidework as assigned.
  3. Answer guest questions about the menu.
  4. Operate the electronic cash register/P.O.S. system (if applicable).
  5. Check food before serving to ensure appearance, temperature, and portions are correct.
  6. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:


  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
  • Good communication skills with guests.
  • Willingness to help co-workers and be a team player.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:


Customer Satisfaction: Maintain professionalism, courtesy, and respect towards guests and staff at all times to ensure a positive guest experience.


Work Habits: Meet and exceed hotel standards for work procedures, dress, grooming, punctuality, and attendance. Be adaptable, eager to learn, and capable of solving routine problems.


Safety & Security: Follow hotel policies on security, key control, chemical handling, and report hazards or concerns promptly.
