Job Description

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a full-time PM Server for Crenshaw's at the beautiful Barton Creek Resort & Spa!

Responsibilities

1. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards, with scheduling varying according to the resort's needs.
2. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper attire/uniform and name tag.
3. Provide outstanding service to guests, members, and staff in a friendly and professional manner, following proper service steps.
4. Prepare drinks for servers, guests, and members according to standard recipes and deliver as needed, making drinks only when rung in on MICROS.
5. Familiarize with the wine list, stemware, and garnishes used.
6. Keep the bar stocked and clean at all times.
7. Monitor inventory levels.
8. Ensure consistency in the presentation and recipes of all cocktails.
9. Maintain full knowledge of menus and beverage offerings.
10. Enforce all policies related to TABC laws.
11. Assist with front-of-house tasks to meet business demands, such as greeting tables, initial drink orders, and polishing glassware and silverware.
12. Assist in orienting and training new associates.
13. Participate in department meetings and other training sessions.
14. Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current Texas Food Handlers and TABC certifications.
• At least 1 year of bartending experience required; prior server experience preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of wine, liquor, and beer required.
• Must adhere to compensation acknowledgment and tip reporting guidelines.
• Ability to communicate clearly and pleasantly in English, both verbally and in writing, with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and multitasking.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods or entire shifts.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects of moderate weight without assistance.

Working Environment

• Inside restaurant kitchen and bar areas, with occasional resort-wide travel.
• Exposure to hazardous chemicals, food items, and beverages.

Tools & Equipment

• MICROS computer and card, telephone, wine key.
