Job summary

Transit Team, Inc. is seeking a reliable AM Dispatcher in Minnesota to support school bus operations. You will oversee morning routes, coordinate with drivers and schools, and ensure safe, on-time transportation for students.

Responsibilities include real-time route adjustments, handling delays, and maintaining logs. Ideal candidates have dispatch or logistics experience, strong communication, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Dispatch, transportation, or logistics experience preferred.
• School bus transportation experience a plus.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Ability to stay calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills (email, routing/GPS systems).

Responsibilities

• Oversee morning routes to ensure on-time performance and full coverage.
• Communicate with drivers, attendants, schools, and parents regarding delays or issues.
• Assign spare drivers and adjust routes as needed in real time.
• Support drivers with directions, student needs, and problem-solving.
• Respond quickly to service disruptions and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain accurate logs of delays, incidents, and route activity.
