Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings in Southern California is seeking local Class A drivers for port operations. You will drive manual tractor trailers, earning a zip-code-based flat rate and enjoying home daily schedules.

Qualified candidates have at least 6 months of manual tractor trailer experience, rail exposure is a plus, and must be 21+ years old. Drop-and-hook freight and No-touch policies apply where specified.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required; port/rail experience preferred.
• At least 6 months of manual tractor trailer work experience.
• Chassis and container handling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate local routes to/from ports and So-Cal locations.
• Maintain safe driving practices and adhere to regulations.
• Get paid on a per-move flat-rate structure; home daily.

UISI is seeking local Class A Experienced Port Drivers
We are looking for CDL drivers with 6 months manual tractor trailer work experience.

Shifts Available

AM- shift
Monday - Fridays
6am-8am start time
Averaging 10+ hours daily
The ideal candidate must be able to go to Long beach, Moreno valley, LA, So-Cal Locations

Pay

Drivers are averaging 1500-2100 a week
Flat rate structure based on a zip code to zip code format. A driver is paid for each move they perform.

Requirements to apply

• Must have 6 months rail experience
• Must be 21 years or old
• Minimum 6 months manual tractor trailer work experience
• Must have Chassis and container experience
• No major accidents / tickets in the last 3 years
• No return to work program
• No DUI in last 5 years
• hazmat is a plus
