Job summary

Universal Logistics is hiring local Class A port drivers to join our team in Southern California. You will operate manual tractor-trailers on a daily route, averaging long hours and delivering to various So-Cal locations such as Long Beach, Moreno Valley, and LA.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of tractor-trailer experience, chassis and container knowledge, and a clean driving record. We offer home daily, 401(k), health benefits, paid holidays, and sick pay.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months rail experience.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Minimum 6 months manual tractor trailer work experience.
• Must have chassis and container experience.
• No major accidents / tickets in the last 3 years.
• No return to work program.
• No DUI in the last 5 years.
• Hazmat is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive local Class A port routes in Southern California.
• Operate manual tractor-trailers and perform required safety checks.
• Deliver to Long Beach, Moreno Valley, LA and other So-Cal locations.

Shifts Available: AM- shift Monday - Fridays 6am-8am start time Averaging 10+ hours daily. The ideal candidate must be able to go to Long beach, Moreno valley, LA, So-Cal Locations.

Pay

Drivers are averaging 1500-2100 a week Flat rate structure based on a zip code to zip code format. A driver is paid for each move they perform.
