Job summary

Universal Logistics is hiring local Class A Experienced Port Drivers in Riverside, CA. CDL is required; six months of rail and manual tractor-trailer experience is preferred. Home daily with drop-and-hook freight, tackling routes across Long Beach, Moreno Valley and LA area, with a flat-rate pay structure per move.

Shifts typically involve AM start times, with 10+ hours daily possible. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid holidays and sick pay, making this a solid regional

Qualifications

• 6 months rail experience.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Minimum 6 months manual tractor trailer work experience.
• Must have chassis and container experience.
• No major accidents / tickets in the last 3 years.
• No return to work program.
• No DUI in last 5 years.
• Hazmat is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Home daily with drop and hook (no touch freight).
• Averaging 1500–2100 USD per week under a zip code–to–zip code flat rate.
• Drive in Southern California area including Long Beach, Moreno Valley, LA.
• Comply with safety and regulatory requirements and maintain logs.

Shifts Available: AM- shift Monday - Fridays 6am-8am start time Averaging 10+ hours daily. The ideal candidate must be able to go to Long beach, Moreno valley, LA, So-Cal Locations.

Pay

Drivers are averaging 1500-2100 a week Flat rate structure based on a zip code to zip code format. A driver is paid for each move they perform.
